This mattress serves primarily as our guest bed and is in my daughter's room usually up as a couch. The mattress is so comfortable...can't tell the difference between my $750 king mattress and this mattress!

The mattress is extremely comfortable. The material is kind of scratchy so it definitely needs a cover. We are having problems with it staying upright in the couch position. Hoping that corrects itself in time as we use it. Some sort of straps would have been helpful. We may try to sew something on ourselves to keep it upright and prevent sliding. Other than that, very satisfied with the purchase.

We got the futon mattress to use as a couch and a guest bed. We have had several people sleep on it and all have said how comfortable it is. It did have a slight oder when we first received it, but I read that it did in other reviews so I wasn't supprised and it did not last long.

I've been using it as my primary bed for a week now, and will certainly continue to do so. I've slept on other futons before, and after a week they all get decent-sized indentations from where I've been sleeping. Not on this. It's an incredibly supportive mattress.

As a couch, I've gotten numerous compliments on how comfortable it is.

The only downsides are the 'buttonholes' that make it look like a couch, and the fact that it's so springy. Putting a mattress pad on top should even it out, and make it feel a little less firm. Also, it's actually hard to keep the mattress folded in couch position without it springing back flat. This has already gotten better, though, and after a few weeks I shouldn't have any problems.

The futon is exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. It's not fancy or anything, but it's comfortable and seems like it's well-made. I've only had it for a few days, so we'll see how it goes.

If you want to buy a futon without laying on it, trying it, seeing it, or knowing anything about it this one is perfect. it comes bundled up really tight and strapped and shrink wrapped and once you undo all of the securities it goes back to being perfect like it was never packaged for shipping.very light, but has the feel of one that heavy. its firm and very comfortablewould definitely suggest this one, everything i wanted in one and i really rolled the dice by just ordering one online

For the Price you cant beat it. [...] I put a $10 convoluted foam on top to mimic a pillow top. The Futon actually got MORE comfy after about 2 weeks! I bought this for my 3 year old but tried it a few times myself and now i want to replace the mattresses on my bed. Totally reccomend and don't waste time shopping around bcuz I already did for you, and this is the one.

This is a new mattress for exsisting futon frame in staff room of library. we use it as a couch; so far looks & feels good, filled out the cover that we put on it--but only time & our staff will tell if it holds up over time. our last mattress lasted 8 years & many "sittings".

This futon mattress has a fabric that does not attract or hold pet hair. I got the black cover and I have a cat that has white and grey fur. I do have a throw over the mattress and the open areas seem to be great at repelling her invasive fur.

We had bought a pair of cheap futon frame/mattress at[...]a year ago to replace beds two of our kids took to their college apartment. The frames were fine, the mattresses were 4-inch paper thin and not very comfortable, especially during the summer when the kids had to sleep on them weeks at a time.So we upgraded to these mattresses, and they are a great upgrade. Immediately, one of our daughters said this new mattress is more comfortable than her bed at the apartment! The mattresses are also more comfortable to sit on to watch TV, read, etc.Only knock on them is that the mattresses are fairly heavy, so converting from futon to bed and back means sliding the mattress off, adjusting the frame, then throwing the mattress back on the futon.

I felt the mattress was a bit expensive. I paid just a little more for the mattress for my bed plus the box spring. However, I am very pleased with the mattress. It is a nice thick mattress and a nice firm mattress. Much better than the thin flimsy mattress I had before. I'm just a little concerned about it getting dirty easily because it is black, but it is so nice and I am overall happy with my product.
